ReDefining My IdeNtiTy

Sometimes I think what would be our real identity, the kind of identity that is craved for us by the persons who claim to be our representatives. The hatred that is infused by them in the many other people who claim to be their supporters, that Mumbai is only for the speakers of some particular language or certain masses of people belonging to a particular part of the country.

Sometime you really are confused about the identity which a country like India is craving for itself are we proud to be called as maharastrians or Bengalis or keralites, the list goes forever and it might extend beyond the twenty eight units in the country made only to facilitate a better administration. Is our sense of acceptance so skewed that we don’t accept people who might be so different form ourselves , different language or culture . Does it really matter where I am from or which language I speak or which faith I profess. Dosen’t it matter the most that we are nice humans. Does the feeling of humanity or universal brotherhood taken a backseat in all of our souls, when we are so discriminating amongst ourselves then forget the fact that there was apartheid in south Africa. We have no right whatsoever to blame the whites for racial discrimination, when our minds are not so pure.

What we see is that all Muslims might be indulged in crimes in terror activities. Doesn’t it make sense that one of the most intellectual president of the Indian republic was Mr. Kalam, who professed the same faith? Can every flower in the garden be the same, then it wont be a garden after all coz’ in a garden there need to be trees and different flowers, roses, daises, lily and all. Its in the diversity that makes the garden what it is.

Doesn’t it count perfect if India would be that garden where we have different flowers, or different languages and faiths? I do hope that this fabric is destroyed by the so called protectors or warriors, all they need to protect is their interest, and may people be protected by the so called protectors of nation’s interest.

India as an identity would be just enough for us and me to identify with, let not be that identity be divided into so many different identity that u never identify yourself as to what you are? I am too content to identify with just one identity.

So here I am, lastly, said all I need to have , about the confusion that’s going all through us and all around us, but I hope I transcended them all and now I just would say that I found myself , I found my identity………………..

Just Find yourselves………………………….i would just say ……..coz when you don’t know what you are….then all other thing remain meaningless!!
